The Russians' Attack on Tower Bridge
Russia has responded with the usual hyperbolic bluster, claiming that the US and Britain were behind it. The attack seems to have been carried out by four improvised jet skis loaded up with explosives. Three of them seem to have come from Snake Island, this strategic lump of rock down in the Black Sea on the kind of border with Romania. It's also a major logistical route carrying supplies to the Russian forces in eastern Ukraine. For both of these reasons, it's considered by the Ukrainians to be a legitimate military target.
