After a fight between two pigs, the victim and aggressor often reconcile. A third pig will sidle up next to either the victim or the aggressor for comfort. This is called consolation when a third party comes in and consoles a victim. It's really remarkable to any other animals behave like this. But it's a surprisingly rare behavior that's limited to only very intelligent species.
