The Joy of a Progressive Worldview
Reinhold Neibor is the Michael Jordan of theology, says George Hahn. He was anathema to Arthur Schlesinger, Jr., who would always argue that he was a Schlesinger-style liberal. The joy of a progressive worldview or a liberal worldview is indeed its hopefulness, but it lacks an awareness of human frailty and sin.
