Justice Scalia Is the Real Riparian
In a 2006 case, the Supreme Court ruled that wetlands could not be regulated unless they had a "significant nexus to more traditional navigable waters" The plaintiffs are asking the court to jettison this ruling. They say it would significantly limit the EPA's authority to regulate under the Clean Water Act. This is yet another deregulatory slash anti-environmental ruling by the justices.
