How to Get a Good Ocular Exam
If the vision is normal, then you know, my worry meter goes way down for things with red eyes. In our clinic, we use a series of mirrors to get us stuff 20 feet in the exam room. I would recommend just having a pair of reading glasses in your clinic. If they can't see it, if they're just what we call, you know, hand motion vision or count fingers and where all they can do is count fingers, or they can't even do that,. That's when you know, oh man, something bad's happening here.
