The Navajo Nation

Is the navajo nation basically under their own a governing laws? Or is it follow the states? Like, for instance, you're partally in arizona, your partially in new mexico. O, i just don't know how that works. Well, the the navo nation, along with a lot of other tribes have a a sovereign government. The us Government deals with us on a state department level. We are basically country within a country,. so we have our own laws that apply to a natives that live out here. But in the case of anglos, when i went to the police academy, my academy was six months long. I had to be certified in
