Are We Getting Better at Responding to Natural Disasters?
I am always staggered by the politics that intervenes in this. The international community can't just row in and you know overlook a national government. President Erdogan himself has said that the Turkish government didn't do as well as they should. I would encourage people who want to help to give money through the disasters emergency appeal because they could then get it to the organizations that are on the ground, he says.
