I'm a little bit weird, but I tend to initially resist the idea that I have changed my mind when I have. And I think that has something to do with holding the narrative around your self-identity, steady in a way. You just tend to interpret it in terms of, well, I didn't really change the idea. Change my mind so much as I change the emphasis on this point and the view that I have now is just a better way to articulate what I thought all along.
