The History of the Second World War

Kerry's War by Nina Baden is a classic of young adult literature over in the UK. The story has as it's setting the civilian evacuation of World War II, which I feel like I've seen covered in dozens of stories. My wife comes from a Latvian family and she was apparently obsessed with this idea of children being evacuated. It seemed resonated in her head. She was very interested that I was doing this book. Well, first time read for me. So we're doing a Frankenstein one chapter at a time and looking at the history behind Frankenstein. That's what I'll be doing at the moment.
