The Pseudonym of Faith

Kierkegaard uses the story to make several points about Christian faith because Abraham is well known. He does it not in his own voice but through the voice of a pseudonym. Kierkegaard's authorships often split into what's called the aesthetic or pseudonymous literature and then signed discourses that he signed with his own name.
