The Benefits of Pironolactone
There's an oral medication called spironolactone that blocks the effect of DHT. In conditions where you have higher than normal levels of testosterone and DHT, you may have acne resistant to traditional treatments. Even if your testosterone levels come back in the realm of normal, some people are just extra sensitive to testosterone. We even use it to address hair thinning in adult women. You can't use it in men because it will cause what's called gynecomastia. So basically it will grow boobs. It's only for women. And it's a really safe option.
