Lithium Levels in Drinking Water
Lithium levels in ground water rarely exceed 200 nanograms per millaleter, which is less than a tenth of what the therapeutic dose is in blood. Even very low levels can have an influence on our health and mental states. Rates of suicide and homicide, as well as other violent and impulsive behavior, were negatively correlated with lithium and drinking water.
