The Power of Grimsby
There are only seven offshore wind turbines off the coast of the United States, compared to nearly 6,000 in Europe. Critics say they're expensive to build and maintain, unpredictable and ugly. We wanted to see for ourselves. Last October, we reported from the largest offshore wind farm in the world, along the northeast coast of England. The Hornsey Wind Farm generates enough electricity to power more than 2 million homes a day.
