What Does It Mean to Follow After Me?

How do we experience the actual fullness of the Holy Spirit and how do we actually lay down ourself will? You know, it really comes through just the normal Christian practices. Jesus says in Luke 923, one of these famous verses, if anyone desires to follow after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily and follow me. This is what Jesus says is the essence of Christianity. To deny yourself means in so many ways that our primary allegiance is not to ourselves when it is to God.
