The Indictment of Donald Trump

I think special counsel Jack Smith is thinking the same thoughts you are. The attack on our nation's Capitol on January 6, 2021 was an unprecedented assault on the seat of American democracy. So it should not be political, but enter is there any way to untangle the politics from this? I don't see a way. But no, unfortunately,  it can be gratifying to see the rule of law and charges brought for accountability,. It is both exasperating and demoralizing to see people who know better, not respond in a way that is required by being a citizen in this country.
