The Point of a Paywall on Creator Support

In the most recent episode of Creator Support, Colin and Smirn again broached the subject of putting the show behind a paywall. The viewership is already remarkably tight knit with 90% coming from subscribers. There's no advantage to further shrinking this audience to only those who are willing or even able to pay for it. A paywall on the Creator Support show would be an explicit choice by Colin and smirn to provide value to fewer people in order to squeeze more money out of their audience.
