The Wrong Thing
I think all of them are in the midst of the severe grief and so they're making bad decisions because that's what we do when we're in the middle of like awful moments. So it's the wrong thing, but it's also sort of it's just in the wake of tragedy. People do the wrong thing a lot. The overriding emotion of the characters we care about most in this chapter is sadness and loss, but the overriding kind of activity of the world is celebration.
