Vaccines are like any medication or anything we put into our body, even if we drank too much water, right? There could be some side effect. And as you just said, most of the side effects are very minor soreness or maybe some fussiness, low-grade fever, especially in young kids. But they typically only last a couple of days and are treatable and serious reactions are very rare. Any vaccination that's commercially available is thoroughly tested for both safety and efficacy before being available for public consumption.
