Is the Glass Falling Off the Shelf?
Lois lewis: If that glass had fallen off the shelf, it would have broken. In figuring out whether that's true, we imagine a possible world in which there are no marauding dinosars and glasses don't hurl themselves off shelves. A really distant possible wat or a possible wirl were like, things perfectly ordinary glasses sitting on shelves just kind of like, fall off cause gravity works in this peculiar way. The idea is that t is just kind of lake, not the kind of thing that glasses do.
