In the first four months of 2017, jobs for men increased by 0.9 million while 2.4 million women fell off the employment map, according to the CMI. "It is a mystery as to why this labor for why are women falling off the labor map at a time of rising education," says Ravi Agrawal. More women should be working and yet less women are working, he adds.
