The Importance of Spiritual Consolation
St. Ignatius said consolation is any movement in the soul where the soul is inflamed with love of its creator. St. Agnesha said the enemy can be like a false lover. So what we need to do is attend to those movements of diverse spirits, the spiritual consolation, the spiritual desolation and know that we are under attack or seduction.
