How to Write a Melody Record
When he's writing records, Duke doesn't really ever write. He usually writes a record with a vocalist in the room and then rewrite it. It's tough because searching was a very melodic record anyway. We've had such a good sample, but we found out cascade or I used it and we just wanted something fresh. So we reached out to the original vocalist. And man, it was just completely opposite. Same vibe,. you know, yeah, really struggled, really struggled. But you think it would be quite easy to, you know, to re-sing a similar vibe. It's hard, isn't it? It's really hard.
