Virginia Wolf - A Book Review
Until the penultimate draft, the book did end with her suicide. But then im was looking at it again, i thought, you know what? Let's just get her demise out of the way early on. And now here's the passage from the hours by michael cunningham. Virginia wolf fell into fits of despair for which the word depression is a little mild. We don't really know what was going on with her, but she hallucinated. She went way, way, way down. And yet i would be hard pressed to name a writer who wrote so convincingly and cogently about the pure joy of being alive. What a lark. What a plunge.
