How Do You Pick Subjects?

I pick subjects that i already know, and then i begin the research from there. The only part that's a saving grace in the episode we're doing now is, in the first world war, things are repetative. I've read 50 books since we started this. What's amazing to me is how much has changed since i thought i learned about these things maybe maybe the 19 eighties. And those things are the pillars we sort of build the show around. It does come across perhaps as disjointed sometimes, or maybe this solo as gone on too long, and we need to get back to the for matter,. But i go into the studio with a concept and an approach
