The Importance of Local Community Banks

The Skidmore Institute is trying to wipe out the middle class by closing small banks. The institute has published a paper on why local community banks are so important, but it's not clear if they've actually done that. They sent in an academic paper and then never gave us the full document. So we'll have to see how this plays out over time as bank failures increase.
