There was this vane glorious rush to get the answer first, we can show the world that we've got there before everybody else. A lot of the recommendations as you said were totally non-evidence based. But also I think sadly a lot of the trials, randomized trials were very badly performed. And if you look at the evidence, there's still a huge amount of conflicting evidence about steroids and how best to use them.
