Is a Waterfall Still White When It's in the Dark?

In an absence of light, a waterfall would be very slightly tinged blue, but largely transparent. But i think you could argue that there isn't really a meaning to an object having color without light being present. Because colour is fundamentally the way that light interacts with a substance. And yes, the substance is still there, but without the light, youre missing half the ingredients to bake a colour cake.
