The Imprinting Thing Is Not Universal

The imprints each human being absorbs from his or her culture then get overlaid by various kinds of individual experience. Some people will be better or worse at remembering songs, sounds and reproducing them as well than others based upon their ideas. Why are some people polyglots and others aren't? Interest is a factor, but what causes the interest? Again, my conjecture is luck of the draw and being exposed to particular means or not. If you're lucky, you don't accumulate quite so many anti rational means.
