There is an interesting kind of doubling here, which is that the memory he is tracking down this tragic event in the east river. That was so, you know, wonderfully captured in goon squad. And i just felt right to take ownership of that and get in there and look at what the aftermath would be like. It's such a huge event that it felt a little like just having this happen and then walking away from it didn't feel like quite enough.
