Is There a Change Coming to the Act in 2023?

In 2021, we talked about removing the criteria of natural death being reasonably foreseeable. Now that that has been removed from the law, the government did recognize that new patient populations might step forward to try to access made. And one of those patient populations is patients who have mental health disorders as their sole as their only underlying illness. Essentially, these patients were never excluded previously. It's just that if one of the criteria was that you're death needed to be reasonably foreseeable, they never really met criteria in the vast majority of cases.
