The Recurrent Gram Negative Infections in a Patient With a Heart Transplant

The patient was moved up to status 3 due to the fracture of the LVAB. About one month after this event, she received her orthotopic heart transplant. CMB and EBV were both donor and positive and recipient positive. Toxel plasma was donor negative and recipient negative. Our patient's induction course was with methyl thromasome 50mg QA plus a taper. And she was also placed on maintenance at M You know, I would also want to ensure that the patient is an appropriate antimicrobial prophylaxis as she's intermediate risk for CMB.
