Four of the rangers who worked the Colonial Parkway murders were also the rangers working this murder 10 years later. At one point, the FBI strongly suspects two of these rangers. Some people have tried to draw some real comparisons between the Colonial Parkway murdered and the Shenandoah murders. That is also an open case too.
