Plutarch and Cleopatra - A Novel Review

Plutarch tells us that Antony gets quite dependent. He's not depressed. And this has been a characteristic of Antony all the way through the life of Plutarch, it seems. When things are going poorly for him, he's got a kind of love-sick tendency to get quite emotional about these things. Which would have been seen as the antithesis of how a Roman man should behave.
