How to Create a Benchmark Index for Growth Equity and Middle Market Investors

We used North American public companies with at least $10 million in revenue that were found starting in 2003 towards the end of 2022. And then we took all that data and calendarized it so that it could be easily comparable. Using that data, we decided to create three, two different indices. One reflects the investor criteria of a growth equity investor; second index is for middle market investors.
