Is the Bible a Good Translation of the Word Lord?

I think one of my concerns, more generally, with many of our doctrines of scripture is that there is something almost anachronistic about our concept of the bible. And what we think of as the text is very much shaped by its modern technological mediation. Then we create an eclectic text that is like 99 point five % inspired. And then we have translations that are sort of to varying degrees, like gradations of inspired. And so we might actually have to say, in the church, this is a really good reconstruction and translation of the word lord. And i don't think that's tolerable, im for the church's mission.
