The Emergence of Ukranian Politics

Ukranian civil society has proved to be extraordinary resilient. This is, i think, it's not too much to say, a birth of anation moment. The younger generation has absolutely no doubt that its future lies with the west. They talk here about a eu Accession. That was something that was made clear by numerous government spokesmen. And they fully intend to pursue that option as rapidly as they can. I do think there's a very transformative thing happening here and it represents the end, really, of the soviet generation.
