"I think what i will miss most is the memory, i suppose, of receiving my first love letters," says Simon garfield. The classic shoe box that i've still got is for my first long term girl friend when i was 16, 17", he adds. "It wouldn't have anything like that individuality or personality through letters." He also shares his father's advice about love coming handy later.
