The Push Behind Talented Female Emcees
Tara Wack to me is more of a festival act than say summer jam. She does get some looks in that degree because the festival crowd isn't the mainstream radio crowd and they would like Tara Wack. But I wouldn't see her on a summer jam per se at this time. It's because the hip hop heads, which are typically male dominated, push that artist. And men, for the most part, whether we like it or not, don't always lean into female rappers.
