The First Airline Collision
This is the first time two air liners collided in mid air. One plane was a farman f 60 goliath, which was a small biplane with two propeller engines. It could carry up to eight passengers and only 60 of these were ever built. The other plane was a de haviand d h 18 a, an single engine biplane that could also carry eight passengers. Both pilots were flying at the base of the cloud layer, using the ground as reference. So guess what? They're both at the same altitude.
