Do You See Opportunities for US Policymakers to Engage China?

Many are worried that the domestic difficulties will encourage the Chinese leadership to take a more aggressive international stance on Taiwan and other issues. Do you see that happening? Well, my view on this up until the party Congress was that Xi Jinping wanted to be as bellicose as he was going to be, but he wasn't going to risk anything by actually doing anything. So I mean, to me, I think we're just going to get more of the same. And that may be, it may be any worse, right? But unfortunately, I do not see opportunities for US policymakers.
