When we give folks the ability to co-create or give feedback, interpersonal engagement is much more effective. So for example, if you give everyone on your team the opportunity to contribute to what they think the dress code should be, everyone's more likely to adhere to it because they were part of that decision making. We are up against a lot right now. And when I think about leadership in our time, to me, one of the most important things that I can do is actually give people their own little piece of real estate so that they have ownership of something.
