The Senora by Stevenson - A Review
Vampirism is not ever really confirmed. He er has a cut at one point, and the mother, the patriarch, leaps at him and drinks his blood. The dramatic high point of the story is straight out of the vampire play book. After he finally sets eyes on a liar, they drink each other in - she following him with thirsting eyes. But the tale still reeks of the crypt. And when he does feel renewed, it is enough to want to further plum the family's own blood line.
