In 2014, John Kerry took a series of important trips to Saudi Arabia where he met with the then Saudi king Abdullah. The US at this moment was trying to crash the price of oil on the global market in order to hurt three main adversaries which or all countries targeted by the US for regime change. Then what happened just a few weeks and a few months after Kerry took this trip, you guessed it, the price of crude prices crashed.
