The Pros and Cons of the California Privacy Act
Sarah: Was there a lot of debate on this one from consumers or interested parties as it was going through the process? Sarah: It seemed to go pretty quickly for what I could tell. There's a notice provision in there that moves to require, that requires a hard health data privacy policy. If a piece of legislation does not have a specified effect, the date comes into effect 90 days after the close of the session.
