Coaches struggle to understand how quick the brain can work, says psychologist. Neuro transmitters and nera modulators change ease with which neurons pass information back and forth. Your brain is constantly reconfiguring itself - out of a single physical structure, you can get trillions of patterns. And so those patterns, on average, can change every hundred milli seconds or so. Whereas a motor movement, even just to pick up a pencil or something, it takes at least four to 500 milli seconds.
