There's a technology called git, g i t, and that's of the main, i guess you could say protocal tat a lot of these open source projects speak. A primary way though, that people share their project now and sort of collaborate and work together is on whabsi called git hub. I think there's probably about 70 million plus people on github to day, and over 28 million, i think t was when i last checked, public projects available.
