The Banality of Evil
The book was controversial. This idea of the banality of evil, which at surface, it looks if it's downplaying what had happened, came for a great deal of criticism. She says that our society is like a desert, and totalitarianism is like a sandstorm that's whipped up in that desert. So you're turning into something else. You look like your bureaucrat sitting in a desk, but there's this fungus inside in the second of your brain. And it spreads.
