Raising Good Humans
You Should Never Say Thank You to Your Kids
Sally Kohn: I've always been very sensitive to not asking my kids to say thank you or disciplining them in front of other people for the sake of that person thinking, oh, she's on top of it. How do you feel about that and if you're a parent that doesn't want to try to have to prove to others about your whole philosophy?Kohn: You are building the habit because it truly is a habit. And so you're modeling that and teaching kids over time what these things mean. There's no way they're going to come out of this not feeling that way.
