Uber's Precarious and Shitty Workplace

I think the biggest complaint more so than the money is that Uber's very opaque in terms of how it explains certain things to its drivers. They didn't really do any kind of accounting or math or attempt to go into any detail about what the overpayment was when they contacted their drivers. It's just like the overall opacity and bad communication with drivers. One of the studies we link to is people feel like it's like gambling, working for their apps, which is totally understandable.
