Is There a Master Plan?

CNN's John Defterios asks when does it become apparent that Berkshire Hathaway is going to be something very special? He looks at the company as a collection of great businesses, but doesn't seem readily apparent that this would necessarily compound at high rates in the future. In one of the very first reports that Buffett had control over when he came to Berkshire Hathaway, he adjusted profit. But I think you'd like to think again, the candor of management, even in one of thevery first reports that Buffet had control over on his arrival there was an adjusted profit.
